Patient Care

One of the most important aspects of providing good care to patients is to provide information to answer questions. Dr. Lundquist makes a special effort to spend the time it takes to be sure that all questions are answered during your consultation and follow-up visits with him. The support staff in the Edina office, the Cambridge, Lakes, and Blaine staffs are all dedicated to helping you when and where needed. If we don't know the answer, we will take it upon ourselves to find it out and communicate back to you.

Your consult visit with Dr. Lundquist and your follow up visits provide the best opportunities to talk directly. We try to provide written instructions whenever possible, but we also expect you to call or write down any questions you may have so that they may be answered. As is always said, "There is no such thing as a dumb question." What is brand new to you, what can be confusing and concerning to you, may be routine and common for us. Don't be afraid to ask if you have any concern. We won't know about it if you don't tell us.

The fantastic thing about the Internet is that information is now almost instantly available any time of the day or night. This provides a new method of getting information out to you from Dr. Lundquist that adds to what is traditionally available. We are including links here to a wide variety of information sheets that Dr. Lundquist has written to answer your questions. These sheets, alone, probably won't be able to answer all your questions, but they can add to what you learn from your office consultation.

Patients who have just had surgery often have a lot of questions, but they seem embarrassed to ask for answers. We have tried to provide many of these answers to standard questions in the "Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) in the Middle of the Night" sheet. Check it out.
