Dr. Kipton Lundquist, 612-347-3744

Procedures

Dr. Lundquist has a "general" plastic surgery practice. As such he treats both men and women, both children and adults, for both cosmetic and reconstructive plastic surgery needs. His initial training in general surgery has given him a solid foundation of surgical experience, and he enjoys the variety that his patients provide him.

It is important that patients understand the options that are available to them when they have a plastic surgery question, and it is also important that they know as much as they want to about any procedure that they are considering. It is especially important that patients have a realistic expectation of the results of their surgery and understand that every surgery entails some risk of complications. Dr. Lundquist will spend a lot of time with you at the time of your office visit to be sure that all your questions are answered.

There are many other sources of information available. The Internet, where you found this site, is becoming more and more accessible to patients who want to research their questions. The one problem with the Internet, in particular, is that there is little, to no control over the content in most cases. Anything can be said or written by anyone, and it can be difficult or impossible to sort out fact from fiction.

On this page we have provided a link to the procedures information section of the American Society of Plastic Surgery (ASPS) web site. The ASPS is the main organization that represents board-certified plastic surgeons, and it provides excellent educational information for patients. Dr. Lundquist has been a member of the ASPS since 1984 and hopes that you will take advantage of these resources. As always, if you still have questions be sure to ask Dr. Lundquist or his staff. We will try to assist you in any way that we can.
